In 2023, archaeologists uncovered an intact, gold-wrapped mummy in Egypt’s Saqqara Valley — the oldest non-royal mummy ever found. He was named Heka-Sheps. To the Ancient Egyptians, ‘Heka’ symbolised strength, health and extraordinary capability — an emblem of vitality that transcends the physical.
We carry the name because it still means something. To us, Heka is a simple conviction: that great health is a kind of power — and that everyone, everywhere, deserves access to it. It’s the standard we hold ourselves to, and the promise behind every clinic, every specialist and every technology we bring to the region.

Recognising that excellence in healthcare arises from a holistic approach rooted in knowledge, Heka became the first medical group to undertake a comprehensive field health survey across Fujairah and the surrounding area — identifying the sector's needs and paving the path forward for the region and beyond.
What began in Fujairah now resonates across every emirate. Two entities operate under the banner of Heka Healthcare Services — Heka Clinics and Heka Trading — driven by a dedicated workforce and state-of-the-art infrastructure across the UAE.
